Silverado Little League is one game away from the Western Regional Semi-finals in San Bernardino, CA. On Saturday they beat Washington Little League (Utah) 8-3 but then lost to Red Bluff Little League (No. California) 0-4 on Sunday.

Tonight (Monday, Aug. 8th) Silverado started off hot with a 2-0 lead in the 1st only to be overtaken by Rio Ricco LL (Arizona) 4-5 in the 2nd. Silverado would tie things up in the 4th to make it 5-5. They would retake the lead in the bottom of the 5th with 3 more runs to make it 8-5 and then hold off Rio Ricco in the 6th and final inning, allowing just one run for a Final Score of 8-6.

Silverado has one more game on Wednesday August 10th against a very strong Ocean View LL (So. California) team. Ocean View is 2-0 going into their third game against Rio Ricco Tuesday night before meeting Silverado on Wednesday at Al Houghton Stadium (Gametime: 7:30pm) and have outscored their opponents 13-2.

If Ocean View beats Rio Ricco on Tuesday it will automatically push Silverado into the Semi-Finals on Friday afternoon. This means that Wednesday game would only be used to seed the 4 final teams in the semi-final. If they do advance to Fridays Semi-Final, the game will be aired live on ESPN2 (Cox Ch. 31; DirecTv Ch. 209; Dish Ch. 144) at either 2pm or 8pm, depending on their seeding.

We'll keep you up-to-date as soon as we know more... Keep Up The Good Work Silverado Little League!
