LVSportz is proud to announce our official partnership with the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine's "Stop Sports Injuries" Campaign. These partnerships will be utilized as required parts of our upcoming Youth Coach Certification Program.

Other details of the program are still being finalized but when they come together they will ssi_pofill a vital, and missing, part of youth sports that our city needs. Emphasis on accountability of local coaches and the safety of young athletes is the goal of the program, we want to ensure that local coaches are not only given the tools to help our children enjoy their early sports experience but that they are qualified in doing so.

Our main priority is to ensure that your children are safe out there. How will these partnerships help us to ensure this? The NAYS program includes a coaches rating and reporting system in which parents can grade their coaches on their professionalism and report complaints that will be investigated. If the coach is found in violation of the NAYS membership agreement it will result in the suspension of their NAYS membership which will subsequently result in the coaches LVSportz certification being suspended as well.

The Stop Sports Injuries campaign will help coaches in recognizing and preventing devastating and sometimes life-changing sports injuries. All coaches will be required to attend a clinic as part of their overall certification.

More details on this program will be given as they become available...
