LAS VEGAS, NV (May 9, 2016) — The Nevada State Cup will play the final weekend of games before crowning fourteen local teams, girls and boys U12-U18 and U19 boys, as Nevada State Champions and they will qualify for the 2016 US Youth Soccer Region IV Championships in Boise, Idaho at the Simplot Sports Complex Monday, June 20, through Wednesday, June 22.
Games begin Saturday, May 14 at 8:30 AM, with final played on Sunday, May 15 beginning at 8:30 AM and the final championships match played at 2:30 PM. All games take place at Betty Wilson Soccer Complex.
“For soccer fans of all ages, this final round of play features some of the best youth players in Nevada,” said Angie Eliason, NYSA Executive Director. “We encourage the community to come out and enjoy two day’s of competitive soccer and watch some of our best youth soccer players compete for the chance to play in the Regional tournament”.
Nevada teams that win in Boise Idaho will move on to the 2016 US Youth Soccer National Championships, July 26-31, at the Toyota Soccer Center in Frisco, Texas.
